The Black Mark

The brief was simple. An identity for a tattoo studio that doesn’t look like a tattoo.
With the outrageous illustrative talent at The Black Mark already clearly on show, they were looking for a different approach.

We created a modern, clean identity system that can be used across all collateral and merchandise. Strong, bold type – rounded for warmth, approachability. The use of the anvil incorporated for it’s traditional usage, the X tied in across the suite to remain true to the studio’s roots.
